Late Night Light

I have seen a lot of night time photos the last few days, so I had to give it a try and the nights have been warm so it was fun trying.. But now its getting really cold again so I wont be back out in the night air for awhile but It is something to look foward too this coming summer.

I found it hard to get the camera lens to focus on the tree I had to use a flash light on the leaves, but the house had all the lights on it so that focus pretty well.. the shutter was set as low as I could get it..

I have started working on a few photos of the wedding I did last weekend. Have been doing a lot of playing around with them. I still want to get this car a little more shinner. but I love the B&G in the back ground.

A New First For Me

I have been getting ready to shoot my first wedding for my niece

next weekend. I am getting excited but a little nerves at the same time.

I really don’t have a good lens, so I have rented one. I have it coming

a few days ahead so I have time to play with it .

I ordered the Nikon 24-70 f/2.8 my very first pro lens.

So stop back in a few weeks and see if I pulled this off.

If you have any advice for a first timer, I would love some input.

I feel bad for the family living near the Mississippi they have lot bigger problems than we do. Having there homes destroyed it is really terrible. Please say a prayers for them they are very needed. .

We went to Canandaguia lake this morning to drink a cup of coffee and enjoy our late spring air. To my surprise there was a sail boat race going on. I had my camera with me just in case so with camera in hand I laid on the ground to get a different angle of the race. I didn't see the fishing boat coming across the front of us at first. But I think it really adds to the shot.

I spotted this bird from my window at my computer so I grab my camera and crept down the fence line to captured this blue heroin . I only have a 200 mm lens so its not a up close shot, he was hiding in the weeds, He though no one could see him. CAN YOU FIND WALDO?

I want to say I am sorry to everyone that has dropped by and found nothing new on my blog. We have been remolding our laundry room and main bath for a couple of weeks. But I am glad to announce that it is finished. Yeah.!!!

And spring is arriving in NY the air is starting to warming up, so I hope to get the camera out and have some fun. I had enough work. ~~~ smile
