Macro & Tubes

I have been playing around with some tubes and my 50mm lens trying to get some nice macro. It took quite a while to figure out how to get the camera to work with the tubs on... If I knew anything at all it may of been easy.. But starting at scratch.. with knowledge.. it took longer.. I will give you one clue your camera must be set on M.... Manual... This is not a great photos but its been the first one I dare post.. I am hoping for a very nice snow flake this week. Today when I was trying to capture one, it was too warm and they were all smashed up.

A Sunny Sunday In Feburary

This picture was taken at about the same spot as below but at a different angle and a different day.

It was a pretty sunny Sunday, so we stopped at the beach to walk on the lake. Well the wind was blowing so hard that it was way to cold to be out there with out a snowsuit.

Whats baking in the oven ?

It has been really cold out side so I have been trying to find things inside the house to photograph. I think its hard to make food look really yummy ... half the thing with food is how it smells. I need to put some scratch and sniff on this photo..

To much Cake Boss

My daughter and I have been watching a lot of cake baking shows, maybe to many shows.... So here is the result of all those shows.. The cake was delicious and a lot of fun to make. I think there will be more to come..

Winter Sports

On the weekend, my husband and I like to go out for coffee and then many times we take a ride to the lake. This weekend we found some activity on the lake, It was cold and it was snowing, but they looked like they were having fun.

My First Portrait

This pretty little girl is my Granddaughter. This is my first try at a portrait, only lighting was a window. I did get a bad shadow that I took out or at least I tried. She did her own posing. We had fun playing around.
