My daughter took this picture this past summer of her friend Ellanna. I think Kristen has a pretty good eye..
What do you think.?.. I converted it into a B&W to practice.
I need to go back and work on the eyes again.. But I think this is a beautiful photo of a beautiful girl..

Grandma's Delight.

We had a practice photo shoot at my daughter-in-laws house, We hung a sheet to get more light and a blank background.. . this was in the evening so we had lamps all over the dinning room trying to get enough light to make this work, with out a flash..( I was using my 50 mm f/1.8 )
Well they came out pretty dark so I had to do some cleaning up of the photos, This round corner board is from the Coffee Shop the link is on this page on the right.

Sugar & Spice

Sugar and Spice that is what my oldest daughter Mechal is made of. She Moved away and I am missing her something terrible.. Any ways I was playing around some more, with texture and glazes. I made the face a little to light, will have to play around with it some more.But I really like how the grass turned out in the background.
